The Committee’s investment recommendations will be overseen by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, which is responsible for corporate governance, guiding and monitoring the Foundation’s business affairs, including the distribution of funds.
The Foundation will invest funds in different asset classes – such as Real Estate, Stocks, Shares, Bonds and Cash Management. These investments can be expected to generate sufficient profit to allow the Foundation to distribute donations to its nominated charities while also achieving its long-term goals.
Distribution of funds will be determined by the Board of Directors, with the intent of assisting as wide a spectrum of causes as possible. These include hospitals, medical research, charities for the mentally and physically disabled, established charities committed to providing national and international assistance, and the victims of disaster.
Fundraising committees are composed of volunteers committed to the Paint A Rainbow Foundation ethos of giving. Their contribution of skills and time means that donations to the Foundation are used in full for their intended purpose. Donors are encouraged to become active members of the Foundation, participating in fundraising events.
